Each committee of staff works the entire year in preparation for the retreat! You can join any of following committees to help elevate Encounter through God. No experience is needed; just a love for the Lord and want to help others. For more information to join our staff, please click the button:

Operations Team

This committee helps plan and set up all the activities, games, and programming for the retreat! From the Glow-Down Hoe-Down, Ministry Fair, Water games, and decorations, this group is very hands-on and has a great time!

Worship Team

This group is focused on planning worship nights throughout the school year. As well as, planning and performing the worship bits during the retreat weekend. You will coordinate with the worship leads and the prayer team to come up with the setlist and practice leading up to the retreat.

Counselors

As a counselor you will be paired with another counselor to take charge of leading a small group during the retreat weekend. You will be repsonible for sharing guidance and helping make sure your small group feels well-lead and prepared for coming to the University.

Prayer Team

In the prayer team you will work to write the small group questions for discussions after the main sermons during retreat. You will also work together to create the daily devotionals and prepare for the prayer walk activity during the retreat. Throughout the semester you will each have the opportunity to create and share a devotional with the entire staff.

PR/Media Team

In this group you will be responsible for helping create graphics, design merchandise, photograph all the special moments, and coordinate outreach for the entire organization.
